| Abstract | La croissance des économies asiatiques non membres de l’OCDE s’est redressée à la fin de 2003. En conséquence, la région a affiché une expansion un peu plus rapide l’an dernier qu’en 2002, malgré l’impact de l’épidémie du syndrome respiratoire aigu sévère. En Chine, le surinvestissement a été une source de préoccupation majeure, tandis que dans le reste de la région les marchés de capitaux ont focalisé leur attention sur les tensions inflationnistes naissantes. La période couverte par les prévisions devrait se caractériser par une modération de la croissance en Chine, où les autorités visent apparemment un taux d’expansion de 7 pour cent par an, mais cet objectif sera probablement dépassé. En Amérique du Sud, l’expansion qui s’est amorcée en 2003 prend de l’ampleur. La croissance du PIB de la région devrait dépasser 3 pour cent en 2004. Cette accélération s’inscrit dans une conjoncture internationale favorable, marquée notamment par le niveau élevé des prix des produits de base et la réduction des primes de risque souverain. De plus, les perspectives de croissance de la région bénéficieront du raffermissement de la demande interne des principales économies. Les pressions inflationnistes vont sans doute rester faibles. L’excédent de la balance courante devrait se contracter en dépit du dynamisme persistant des exportations, les importations s’inscrivant en hausse avec le retour de la croissance. L’activité économique en Europe du Sud-Est et dans les nouveaux États indépendants a crû de près de 7 pour cent en 2003, contre un peu moins de 5 pour cent en 2002. En 2004, l’expansion de la région dans son ensemble restera sans doute proche de 7 pour cent et sera essentiellement tirée -- comme en 2003 -- par la hausse de la production pétrolière des nouveaux États indépendants et par la progression des services. La croissance devrait se modérer vers la fin de cette année et sera un peu plus lente en 2005 qu’en 2004. L’inflation a continué de décroître dans l’ensemble de la région en 2003, mais la désinflation a été plus prononcée en Europe du Sud-Est, du fait en partie d’un ralentissement de la croissance... |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
