| Abstract | L’expansion économique est montée en régime dans les derniers mois de 2003, grâce à l’accélération de l’investissement et des exportations des entreprises et à un certain raffermissement de la consommation privée. Le redressement des échanges mondiaux et la progression régulière de la demande intérieure, dopée par une certaine amélioration du marché du travail, devraient aider à maintenir la croissance à près de 3 pour cent jusqu’à la fin de 2005. Cela représenterait, pour le Japon, la reprise la plus longue depuis les années 80 et contribuerait à mettre un terme à la déflation. Néanmoins, l’économie est confrontée à de puissants vents contraires du fait de la baisse ininterrompue des prix des terrains et du crédit bancaire. Les autorités monétaires devraient poursuivre la stratégie d’assouplissement quantitatif jusqu’à ce que l’inflation soit durablement positive et que le risque de déflation devienne négligeable. Bien qu’il faille se féliciter de la réduction attendue du déficit budgétaire en 2004 et 2005, des mesures plus ambitieuses s’imposent à moyen terme pour atteindre l’objectif du gouvernement, à savoir un excédent du budget primaire d’ici le début des années 2010. La réduction de la proportion de créances douteuses détenues par les grandes banques devrait être poursuivie, parallèlement à un vaste programme de réformes structurelles destinées à redynamiser les entreprises... |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
