Abstract	Alors que le taux de croissance était négatif en 2010, l’année 2011 a été marquée par une relance de l’économie avec un taux de 7 %. Cette reprise a été soutenue par un regain d’activité dans le secteur pétrolier et les investissements publics. Une baisse de la croissance est attendue en 2012 (4 %) avant une reprise graduelle en 2013 (6.6 %). Ces résultats dépendent de la bonne tenue des cours mondiaux du pétrole et du gaz. La Guinée Équatoriale demeure fortement dépendante du pétrole, qui contribue à hauteur de 78 % à la formation du produit intérieur brut (PIB). Peu de progrès ont été accomplis concernant la diversification de l’économie, alors que le gouvernement dispose de moyens financiers importants pour y parvenir. En effet, les recettes pétrolières devraient être réinvesties dans les secteurs des services mais aussi l’agriculture et la pêche.
