NDLI: Avantages éconimiques plus larges des transports

Abstract	Les apports économiques des investissements en infrastructures de transport sont généralement évalués d’un point de vue microéconomique, afin d’établir le lien entre des améliorations particulières des infrastructures de transport et la productivité de certaines unités de production. L’outil économique classique de l’approche microéconomique est l’analyse coût-avantages (ACA) : appliqué ex ante, cet instrument vise à rendre compte des avantages associés aux gains de temps et aux économies de coûts – ainsi que d’autres effets bénéfiques des perfectionnements de la logistique et du regroupement des installations rendus possibles par les progrès des transports –, de même que des coûts connexes, notamment les coûts externes. L’objectif de cette Table Ronde organisée sous les auspices de l’OCDE/FIT et de l’Université de Boston est de définir des méthodes tenant compte des avantages économiques plus larges des infrastructures de transport, que ne reflètent habituellement pas les estimations résultant de l’ACA, et de faire avancer leur application.
