Abstract	The evaluation of obtainable sensitivity of small-size magnetic and electric antennas made on the basis of numerical solution of UWB electromagnetic pulse registration in case when the resistance element is used as an antenna load is presented in the given work. The connection between antenna characteristics (geometric and electric) and the amplitude of a useful signal induced in the antenna has been established. The dependences of received electromagnetic pulse waveforms and antenna sensitivity on the resistive load value of electric and magnetic dipoles in case that the electric dipole length is equal to the loop diameter of the magnetic dipole are also given in the report
