Abstract	Knowledge management is a hot research area in the field of management studies. Knowledge map can be used as an effective tool for knowledge management and thus play an important role in the area of enterprise applications. Knowledge map is a visual navigation tool, which can make tacit knowledge explicit, thus favoring knowledge sharing and reuse. As the rapid development of knowledge, the characteristics of dynamic can't be indicated properly in the traditional construction methods for knowledge maps, which can't meet the requirements of users more and more for its low navigation ability and poor retrieval effect. Therefore, in order to resolve the mentioned problems, we present a knowledge map construction method for virtual team environment based on ontology technology so as to improve the efficiency of knowledge sharing and exchange. At last, the paper provides an example to introduce the visualized knowledge map construction by using the ontology creation tool protégé.
