Abstract	A BiCMOS field programmable analog cell array with continuous time fully differential analog signal processing is presented. As a counterpart to digital FPGAs it can be configured by software and enables fast prototyping and evaluation of analog and mixed signal systems with frequencies up to 100kHz. The device offers different I/O-cells and in the analog core several flexible analog cells including a novel multiplier/amplifier/integrator cell. Measurements on design examples realized with a test version show excellent performance. The influence of the switching arrays in the signal path is neglible.
