| Abstract | It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the second edition of the ACM Workshop on Micro Aerial Vehicle Networks, Systems, and Applications for Civilian Use (DroNet 2016). Spurred by recent advances in micro or nano aerial vehicles (MAVs and NAVs) of various forms, aerial networking is emerging as a necessary means to control those systems remotely, enable novel realtime applications with them, or even enable fleets of multiple UAVs that need to coordinate their activities. DroNet 2016 features papers dealing with system aspects and experimental results, supportive real-time technologies, or innovative applications, bringing together many views and a broad range of knowledge related to aerial networked systems. We hope that this second edition will continue to affirm DroNet's tradition as a forum presenting late breaking research results and experience reports on important topics related to aerial communication and networked systems. DroNet 2016 already gives researchers a unique opportunity to share their views and results with others interested in the various aspects of this very exciting yet broad area. The call for papers attracted submissions from Asia, Canada, Australia, Europe, Africa, and the United States. 15 papers were submitted, from which 6 were accepted as full papers (40% acceptance rate). In addition, the workshop has a short paper and poster track consisting of 4 short and poster papers. The program further includes two keynote presentations, one keynote by Kate Lin, Academia Sinica, entitled "Autonomous Mobile Drone Mesh Networks" and one keynote by James P.G. Sterbenz, The University of Kansas, entitled "Drones in the Smart City and IoT: Protocols, Resilience, Benefits, and Risks". Following the tradition of last year, we will conclude with a discussion about the future of key challenges and research directions. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
