Temporal Coverage | 1888-1888 |
Description | The West Tennessee Star, a brief iteration of the Bolivar Bulletin, emerged in April 1888 under the proprietorship of W.A.H. McDaniel. Despite its short-lived existence, it retained the Bulletin's commitment to local news, Democratic principles, and community service. By November of the same year, the paper reverted to its original name under new ownership. This transition marked a temporary divergence in the paper's identity before returning to its familiar roots as the Bolivar Bulletin. NDLI hosts contents from/of year 1888 of this newspaper. |
