| Abstract | Malwares have become a big problem in today's connected world with some of the most impor- tant aspects of our existence ranging from our nancial to social life going online. Malwares pose a huge threat to all of us and this work is focused on addressing this threat. In this report, we present an algorithm that can help us identify malwares easily from a bunch of binaries with a very high detection accuracy. We have used Machine Learning techniques along with a measure, normally used in information retrieval, to detect malicious executables. We believe that with better representativeness in our training data, we will be able to achieve even better detection accuracy. It serves as a step towards achieving complete security from malwares. |
