Description | Four panel comic strip, the fourth in a series, shows a truck driving down a street in Germany as the occupants, Happy Easter and Mrs. Jones discuss their concern for Steve Canyon, who has remained behind to fight ex-Gestapo men in postwar Germany. The scene shifts to Steve Canyon, fighting two men. One drops his knife as he sails upside down over Steve's shoulder. In 1947, Milton Caniff created a postwar adventure comic strip featuring Steve Canyon, owner of Horizons Unlimited, toughened by his World War II experience and tackling dangerous assignments. The feature ended with the death of its creator in 1988. |
