Headnote | High Court Judges (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1956/ All India Services (Leave) Rules, 1955:r.2/r.2.20B- High Court Judge- Entitlement to leave encashment-Member of Higher Judicial Service- superannuation- Elevated to High Court- Meanwhile retrial benefits including leave encashmentdeposited in his account- On superannuation as High Court Judge, claim for difference of leave enchashment-Held, cash equivalent in lieu of unavailed leave would be payable at the time of retirementof the judge of High Court would not prior to that- Retirement is sine qua non for payment of leave encashment-- Elevation of member of Higher Judicial Service to the post of a Judge of High Court would not amount to his retirement or cessation of service-- On his elevation. Judicial Officer carries with him all the benefits accrued to him during his past service- Services rendered by the individual as a Judicial Officer as also a High Court Judge would be a continuing one- Therefore, a High Court Judge on attending the age of superannuation would be entitled to all benefits in terms of the High Court Judges (Condition of Service) Act and the Rules framed thereunder- High Court Judges (Conditions of Services) Act 1954s.4- Constitution of India- Article 221(2). |

It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
