Abstract	Aus dem mittleren Givetium (unterevarcus-Conodontenzone) der algerischen Sahara (Ahanet Becken) werden die zwei Rugosa-ArtenCatactotoechus wendti n. sp. undCatactotoechus angustus n. sp. beschrieben. Beide Arten zeigen sehr enge Verbindungen zu den aus dem Ober-Devon von West-Australien bekannten Formen vonCatactotoechus.Two new rugose coral species,Catactotoechus wendti n. sp. andCatactotoechus angustus n. sp., are described from the middle Givetian (lowervarcus Conodont Zone) of the Algerian Sahara (Ahanet Basin). Both species are very closely related to theCatactotechus known from the Upper Devonian of Western Australia.Deux espèces nouvelles de coraux rugueux du Givetien moyen (Zone à conodontes àvarcus Inférieure) du Sahara algérien (Bassin d’Ahanet) appartenant au genreCatactotoechus,Hill 1954 sont décrites:Catactotechus wendti n. sp. etCatactotoechus angustus n. sp. Les deux espèces sont très proches des espèces connues deCatactotechus du Dévonien Supérieur d’Australie Occidentale.
