Abstract	In the last year 2016, the brewing industry in Ecuador and in the world has undergone great and important changes. With the new merger between SABMiller and AB InBev the first global brewery was formed, selling 1 in 3 beers in the world. Cerveceria Nacional with a view to sustainable growth and at the hands of its largest shareholder, AB InBev, propose an approach to industrial safety as the first performance axis. For this reason, the present project is a proposed, for the improvement of occupational safety and health management in the distribution center, logistics area located in Cumbaya, Ecuador part of Cerveceria Nacional, using the lean safety philosophy in the different processes. First, the Cumbaya distribution center, the statistics and accident cases were used to determine the improvement proposal, in order to determine the ones with the highest negative incidence and have a focus on those. Also taking as reference cases of accidents from neighboring operations such as Colombia and Peru. The main causes of the different accidents obtained from the statistics of the distribution center were then investigated. To establish with the results, proposals for improvement through the establishment of various lean tools, first fostering a robust security culture. Finally, an economic valuation was made of the benefit of the implementation of lean safety in the operation through an analysis of the annual cost of accidents and the return on investment of the proposal. In conclusion, it can be inferred that the implementation of the philosophy is of great benefit for the organization from the perspective of productive and economic growth, but the most important thing is the generation of a true culture of prevention.
