| Abstract | The objective of this investigation is to justify the proposed approach to the environmental history of the Port of Moa from a holistic perspective. The historical-logical method was used as well as the case study in addition to research techniques such as enquiries and detailed interviews. The most important result was to document the environmental history of the Port of Moa from a holistic perspective. The document shows serious environmental problems associated with the socio-economic development of the area and characteristic to the unstoppable process of the civilization (destruction of forest resources, loss of biodiversity, deterioration of the coral reef that surrounds the bay in addition to the contamination of inland and coastal waters). |
