| Abstract | We can note currently the vitality and the precocity of the new female writers from Sor Juana’s country, always more numerous in the literary overview. To observe one of the manifest trends in Mexican literature from the beginning of Twenty-first century, we have formed a corpus, voluntarily miscellaneous, with ten significant female storytellers and who are under 40 years old. We analyze their place of birth and residence, their training, their main occupation, the grants received, the literary prizes that some of them have won, the houses where they publish (do they integrate with the hegemonic distribution channel or do they favor more peripheral publications?), the existence or not of translation of their works, the themes they approach and their literary influences. We can note that an evolution, although thin, appears in this way, in welcoming works written by women in Mexico but the largest visibility given to the productions we have studied is nuanced by pre-existing limitations. |
