| Abstract | La intencion de este articulo es analizar el tono de las noticias publicadas por la prensa nacional acerca de la situacion de las mujeres en las Fuerzas Armadas espanolas en diferentes momentos. Se analizan las noticias y articulos aparecidos en la prensa nacional durante los ultimos anos. Se observa que detras del triunfalismo con el que se describia la incorporacion de las mujeres a filas y su supuesta integracion en las mismas, hay una fuerte tendencia a la explotacion de la imagen de la mujer militar como forma de propaganda politica. La igualdad legal parecia haberse alcanzado con la firma del Regimen de Personal de 1999. Ademas en 2005 se creo un organismo encargado de estudiar y analizar la presencia de las mujer en las Fuerzas Armadas y promover su integracion y permanencia, el Observatorio de la Mujer, que pasaria a denominarse Observatorio Militar para la Igualdad en 2011. A traves de los informes y las estadisticas elaborados por este organismo es como mas facilmente puede verse hasta que punto sigue existiendo a dia de hoy una cierta segregacion laboral en las Fuerzas Armadas espanolas. ?Se han integrado las mujeres en igualdad de condiciones en los tres ejercitos o de alguna forma se mantiene el estereotipo de la mujer auxiliar que viste un uniforme pero no desempena las mismas labores que los hombres? La conclusion a la que se llega en este articulo es que no existen aun razones para hablar de igualdad real. Cuando se ha permitido el alistamiento de mujeres ha sido en momentos de extrema necesidad. Ademas esa aceptacion no es todavia completa ni igualitaria y se ha producido a costa de su instrumentalizacion. Palabras clave: Fuerzas Armadas, mujer, igualdad, discriminacion, prensa. Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyse the tone of the news published by the national press about the situation of women in the Spanish Armed Forces at different times. Behind the triumphalism about the incorporation of women into the army and their hypothetical integration into the military world, there is a strong tendency to exploit the image of the female soldier as a form of political propaganda. The news and articles published in national newspapers in recent years will be analysed. In our country legal equality seemed to have reached with the signing of the Staff Regulations of 1999. Also in 2005 an agency to study and analyse the presence of women in the Armed Forces and promote their integration and permanence, the Centre for Women was created. It was renamed Military Observatory for Equality in 2011. Through reports and statistics produced by this organism easily it can be to what extent a certain gender segregation in the Spanish Armed Forces remains today. Do women have been integrated into the three armies on equal terms, or in any way the stereotype of the auxiliary woman who wears a uniform but does not performs the same work as men is maintained? The conclusion of this article is that there are not still reasons to talk about real equality. When the state has allowed the enlistment of women has been in times of extreme necessity. Moreover, such acceptance is not yet complete and egalitarian, and there has been at the expense of their exploitation. Keywords : Army, women, equality, discrimination, newspapers. |
