| Abstract | This paper describes the process of development and testing of software produced to help people with intellectual disabilities learn to sign their own name. The system is an application for tablets with Android that can be complementary to the pedagogical practices of the teacher. It collaborates with social inclusion, since it brings students closer to the reality of mobile devices, a very important subject nowadays. The software was tested and validated in a public school in the Federal District and obtained positive responses, being well accepted by teachers and students. This makes this teaching tool allied to the pedagogical work already developed by the teacher, in the process of teaching the proper name. |
