| Abstract | The Theatre of the oppressed is a useful methodology practice. This can be reflected in the application of it in different fields of community social work. Throughout its history this innovative methodology has gained a lot interest due to its current and effective application in many projects around the world. The advantages and usefulness of this methodology in the community social work field is going to be exposed in this investigation. This will be demonstrated by means of analysis and investigation into the origin of this methodology, its objectives and different examples of diverse experiences that have used this methodology in community social work. Finally, this investigation intends to be informative regarding this methodology and to reflect upon its usefulness as a community social work tool. |
