| Abstract | The aim of this work consists in reflecting about the value of phonological awareness in the teaching/learning of reading in children of primary school, as well as presenting activities in digital support that aim to develop that awareness. In the first part of the work, which is dedicated to theoretical questions chapters 2, 3, 4 and 5, we have proceeded to the distinction between phoneme and sound and we have contextualized the two concepts in the different moments of the history of phonology; we have amplified the concept of phonological awareness; and we have valorized the pertinence of working the phonological awareness at the preschool level and we have highlighted technological resources that are able for the teacher to become a “conceptor-teacher” of his/her own pedagogic materials. In chapter 6, dedicated to the practical part of the work, we present a set of exercises that we have conceived in the Hot Potatoes program, having in mind the development of the phonological awareness.
