| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product innovation and types of reference groups partially or simultaneously on the interest in buying iPhone apple smartphones in students of the poor state polytechnic. This research was quantitive research, and use questionnaire for data collection, The sampling technique was nonprobability sampling. Using slovin formula, researcher got 72 respondents and determined 95 respondents to minimize the errors of the questionnaire. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing are known that Product Innovation and Types of Reference Groups simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on Buying Interests. In addiction Adjusted R2 of 40.8%. |
