| Abstract | Este ponencia se basa en una investigacion, continuacion de un estudio llevado a cabo en la Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires (CABA) y el Area Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA), que esta en su etapa inicial. El objetivo de la investigacion es estudiar la relacion entre habitos de alimentacion, cuerpo y salud, en mujeres de la region del noreste (NEA) del pais, con especial enfasis en los riesgos que para la salud conllevan al mismo tiempo y paradojalmente la obesidad y la desnutricion (Patel, 2008). La poblacion en estudio son mujeres aborigenes y no aborigenes de las provincias de Corrientes y Chaco. El tipo de estudio es mixto (cuali.-cuantitativo), descriptivo-correlacional, multifactorial, cuyo objetivo es descubrir tendencias. Se trabajara con grupos focales y se hara la adaptacion de tres pruebas sencillas -que fueron disenadas en el marco de la investigacion realizada en la CABA y el AMBA- que permiten medir la asociacion entre conducta dietante hipocalorica/delgadez y salud. Palabras clave Mujeres, Alimentacion, Salud, Cuerpo Abstract THE CONCEPTIONS ABOUT LOWS CALORIES DIETS AND THE THINNESS LIKE HEALTH`S SYNONYMOUS IN A WOMEN GROUP FROM NORTH-EAST ARGENTINIAN Following a study carried out in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), this paper is based on research which is in its initial stage. The aim of the research is to study the relationship between eating behavior, body and health, women’s northeastern region (NEA) of the country, with special emphasis on health risks that at the same time and paradoxically, lead to obesity and malnutrition (Patel, 2008). The study population are Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal women in the provinces of Corrientes and Chaco. The type of study is mixed (cuali.-quantitative), descriptive-correlational, multifactorial, which aims to discover trends. Focus groups will be used. Three simple tests -which were designed within the framework of the research conducted in the AMBA-CABA- that measure the association between dieting behavior/thinness and health, will be adapted.
