| Abstract | Regardless of the level of development of countries, gender inequality can be occured in different ways in every country. Each country emphasizes the importance of this inequality within itself or international participation and emphasizes the need for measures and studies to be taken. The social work which has human rights and social justice components, has a significant role to play in achieving sustainable development. Gender is a set of roles attributed to gender in many areas of life. Because of these roles, individuals may face gender inequalities in their lives. The importance of social work, one of the primary occupational groups dealing with gender inequality, on sustainable development goals should not be underestimated. In this context, gender equality and sustainable development will be discussed in the context of social work. |
