| Abstract | One of the drawbacks of subsurface irrigation is the decrease in the dripper flow rate as a result of overpressures generated in the soil at the discharge point. This will, due to the impact of soil hydrophysical features, possibly result in less uniform irrigation. In this paper the performance of subsurface irrigation laterals in the field is evaluated.
