| Abstract | This article attempts to approach the relationship between formal and informal economy in the neighborhood "The Stick" Petty Township, province of Santiago de Cuba. Focuses on domestic strategies, in order to analyze the relationship between paid and unpaid work and sociocultural in choosing options revenue implications and display differential roles of men and women of the neighborhood. The following text is the result of an investigation that has favored the interpretation of data obtained from conducting an Multi-Sited Ethnography, which allowed falsify information obtained from a structured / as residents questionnaire neighborhood and participant observation of different activities in other scenarios to account for the strategic variants of social reproduction in terms of mobility, both within the domestic groups as out of them. |
