| Abstract | Maracujá-do-mato is a native fruit of the semi-arid. One of the characteristics of this species is the high rusticity, being able to be cultivated in areas with low pluviometric indexes. In this sense, the objective was to evaluate the growth and quality of passion fruit seedlings under effect of levels of electrical conductivity in the irrigation water as a result of the application of organic fertilizers. A completely randomized experimental design was used, presenting a 5 x 3 factorial scheme, with 6 replications, corresponding to five levels of electrical conductivity of the irrigation water (ECw): (1; 2; 3; 4 and 5 dS m) under application of organic fertilizers: (cow urine, bovine biofertilizer and liquid earthworm humus). The growth of passion fruit was evaluated at 90 days after sowing (DAS) through measurements of plant height, stem diameter, leaf area and Dickson quality index. The obtained data were evaluated by analysis of variance by the F test at 0.05 and 0.01 probability level and in the cases of significance, linear and quadratic polynomial regression analysis was performed using the statistical software SISVAR 5.0. The increase in the electrical conductivity levels in the irrigation water reduces the growth of passion fruit seedlings, however, the effects are less severe in the seedlings treated with bovine biofertilizer. The application of bovine biofertilizer provided seedlings of passion fruit with higher phytotechnical quality. |
