| Abstract | La metodologia de la investigacion desde sus inicios hasta nuestros dias y por siempre sera una materia de suma importancia para el area universitaria por la sencilla razon de que nos indica que pasos debemos tomar en cuenta para llevar adelante una investigacion y lograr un aprendizaje significativo. Si se considera el aprendizaje como un proceso activo de construccion de conocimientos, partiendo del significado que se le atribuye podemos decir que la ensenanza tendra como objetivo orientar el proceso de construccion del aprendizaje. Por tal motivo en esta investigacion se desarrollan una serie de aspectos que pueden ser considerados en la orientacion del aprendizaje como construccion del conocimiento a partir de situaciones problematicas, donde el estudiante puede aproximar sus actividades a un trabajo cientifico en el momento de abordar los problemas. Del estudio critico - propositivo que se ha efectuado, se determino que la Metodologia de Investigacion Cientifica, vital en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y de acuerdo a los resultados de la investigacion por encuesta, demuestra que para lograr mejorar las deficiencias de aprendizaje en los contenidos del silabo es urgente contar con el diseno de un “Manual de Metodologia de la investigacion y elementos basicos de estadistica”, que apoye el estudio independiente; con la utilizacion de estrategias didacticas que simulen y reemplacen la presencia del profesor y genere un ambiente de dialogo, para ofrecer al estudiante diversas posibilidades que mejoren la comprension y el autoaprendizaje. IMPACT OF MEANINGFUL LEARNING OF THE RESEARCH METHODOLOGY AS AN INDICATOR OF QUALITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION DISTANCE LEARNING ABSTRACT The research methodology from its beginnings to the present day and will always be a matter of utmost importance to the university area for the simple reason that tells us what steps we must take into account to carry out an investigation and achieve meaningful learning. If we consider learning as an active process of building knowledge, based on the meaning attached to it we can say that teaching will aim to guide the construction process of learning. Therefore in this study a number of aspects that can be considered in the orientation of learning as construction of knowledge from problematic situations, where students can bring their activities to a scientific work at the time of addressing problems develop. Critical study - purposing that has been made, it was determined that the Methodology of Scientific Research, vital in the learning process of students and according to the results of survey research shows that in order to improve learning deficiencies in the contents of the subject is an urgent need for the design of a "Handbook of research Methodology and basic elements of statistics" to support independent study; with the use of teaching strategies that mimic and replace the teacher's presence and generate an atmosphere of dialogue, to offer students various possibilities to improve understanding and self-learning.
