| Abstract | Storyte lling is one of the interesting e lements that should be append in educ ation proc ess in a formal and struc tured way. From the observations and interviews made during January until June 2009 in one of the government sc hools, we found that remedial students have problems in engagement and foc us during learning sessions. The main purpose of this study is to design a framework for digital storyte lling (DS) as a guideline to follow and adapt during the development proc ess. The first part of this paper is on the researc h bac kground whic h gives an overview on researc h objec tives, users, Bahasa Melayu, DS and augmented reality (AR) tec hnology It is also shows the data of diffic ulty in learning during a reading proc ess. The next sec tion is on the DS framework. DS and AR tec hnology e lements are expec ted to give engagement, foc us and stronger user experienc e in improving listening skills, enric hing the voc abulary and ability to narrate. In addit ion, moral and emotional values and learning theories are also adapted. |
