This academic work aims to explain the need to use different evaluation methods in the discipline or mathematics for the 6th grade of Elementary School II. The evaluation is a mandatory part of the system or Public Schools. As it determines almost dominantly to approve or not a student, it is important to seek the best ways of checking the knowledge acquired by students. It was applied different methods of evaluation, appropriate to the reality of the comunity where the students is inserted, because every individual is different from each other. The aim objective is to qualify the teaching and learning, emphasizing and prioritizing the study of this subject in a exciting, fun and compromised way to form a critical citizen to live in society. In this way, the student can understand a little more the reason of studyng and practicing mathematics.
