| Abstract | As the impact of people management practices in the performance of manufacture are of great importance for the success of the Organization, it turns out that decisions taken by the leadership in the career development of each employee has a strong influence on the results. This research aims to check the effectiveness of a professional development process effective hourly a multinational manufacturer of appliances. To support research in theory, were raised definitions of management concepts and the form of career development within the company. As a way to achieve the goal, data of people promoted in the year 2012 were raised and analyzed matrix form and statistics. Trough these analyses proved that even with totally correct policy of development of people within the company studied, many decisions are still at the discretion of the leaders and end up being influenced in different ways by each of them, since many practitioners are qualified and meet requirements of the career plan of the Organization, but few are chosen and end up generation frustration in the organizational environment. |
