| Abstract | This investigation proposes a credit risk management system that Horus Ltda. company, could implement to mitigate continuous credit losses and thus avoid its possible insolvency in the future. The study case company situation is a mirror of the problems presented by small and medium-sized enterprises in Colombia, related to their short life and credit losses, which gives as a result to not achieved enough income to stay in the market for a long-term period. For the built of the intend system it was used a range of Colombian regulatory credit risk models as well theoretical classic models. It was found that there is an opportunity to apply quantification methods for credit risk and that it is possible to improve complementary factors as: communications, strategies, data gathering, among others. |
