| Abstract | Introduction: Biosecurity, is a scientific organizational measures set, designed to protect the worker from the installation, community and the environment, the risks of working with biological agents or the release of organisms to the environment, to minimize the effects that present and quickly eliminate their consequences. OBJECTIVES: To identify and verify the correct compliance with standards of biosecurity in the students and teachers in the Curn dental laboratory. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study type is descriptive, because it allows to specify the evaluation standards and compliance to protect the safety of students and teachers from the Corporación Universitaria Rafael Núñez dental laboratory. RESULTS: The sample was 22 students and 7 teachers who work in the laboratory where he identified flaws in both groups on Biosafety and knowledge in the use of the same barriers. CONSCLUSIONES: Once reviewed the results it can be concluded that V and VI, students have a mishandling of biosafety standards, teachers although the best way to handle rules, also have deficiency in your application, use of barriers when they make their practices, time in which are exposed to the written risks. RECOMMENDATIONS: Realization of trainings on management of biosafety regulations. Higher demand in the laboratory in compliance with biosafety therein. |
