| Abstract | ARTICLE INFO ABSTRACT Article history Received 9 May 2016 Accepted 25 July 2016 In this work, the less familiar glycerol-AOT reverse micellar system has been used as a templating medium for the synthesis of silver nanoparticle. The study was done using Silver nitrate salt as metal precursor and glucose as mild reducing agent and isooctane as the continuous media. In this initial study, successfully preparation and stabilization of the silver naoparticle at w=1 condition has been achieved which indicate the fruitful application of the concerned reverse micellar system as templating medium for nanoparticle synthesis. |
