| Abstract | This article presents results of a research about the work of Family Health Support Units (NASF) nutritionists, with the perspective of the interdisciplinary health care, in a city in the west of the state of Santa Catarina. The research, adopted a qualitative approach, as an exploratory case study it was used as data collection techniques of document analysis, the focus group and semi-structured interviews involving 27 health professionals, being: nutritionists and other professionals that are part of NASF and Family Health Strategy (ESF), as well as managers who monitor the work of nutritionists in Chapeco/SC. The results show that teamwork across disciplines is being built by the health professionals and that the NASF nutritionists have worked to provide comprehensive health care, striving to maintain an interdisciplinary teamwork. The study helps to identify the role of the nutritionist and pointing ESF potentialities. |
