| Abstract | In the present research, the application of dental simulation through augmented reality for the learning of infiltrative anesthesia techniques is analyzed in the fifth semester students of the Dentistry Career of the National University of Chimborazo, thus allowing to know the software Used in the realization of this project, and the different types of anxiety that the student faces at the moment of the actual practice with the patient, also helping us of the respective Hamilton test. For the study of this research project we divided the fifth semester with parallels A and B. With the parallel A we worked with the software "Dental Simulator", so that this group was guided in a practical way in the use and management of the program as well In a theoretical way about the technique of infiltrative anesthesia, anatomy and nerves to be anesthetized through lectures, videos and illustrative images, after explaining all those points we proceeded to practice students in the software. Parallel B was the talk of the technique of anesthesia and the practice of this technique among his colleagues. Proving that group A obtained a better understanding of 65.83% of usability and interest as well as success in performing the technique of infiltrative anesthesia, on the other hand Group B found it very difficult to perform the actual practice in The moment of its execution. |
