| Abstract | The objective of this study was to evaluate the technological characteristics of sugarcane (CTC 4 variety) fertirrigated with sources (urea and ammonium nitrate) and nitrogen doses in cane-plant. The experiment was conducted in field conditions in an area of the Rio Paraiso II farm belonging to the Raízen industry, in the municipality of Jatai-GO. The soil of the experimental area is classified as dystrophic Red Latosol, very clayey. The experimental design used was randomized block, analyzed in factorial scheme 4 x 5, with four replications. The treatments consisted of four nitrogen doses (0, 60, 120 and 180 kg ha) and two nitrogenbased fertilizers (urea and ammonium nitrate) in sugarcane of first year. The plots was consisted of 5 lines of sugarcane of 5 m long, spaced 1.50 m apart, constituting 45 m per plot. The area used of plot was 2 central lines of each plot, disregarding 2 m at each end. The variables evaluated was the purity and sugars. The variety implanted in the experiment was the CTC 4. Nitrogen was applied according to treatments at 60 days after planting. All the treatments were fertilized in the planting with phosphorus (P2O5), in the form of triple superphosphate, potassium (K2O), in the form of potassium chloride and micronutrients. Soil preparation was performed by the conventional system. The planting was done in a mechanized way, and the number of buds per meter used was in accordance with the recommendations for the variety CTC 4. The nitrogen-based fertilizers (urea and ammonium nitrate) applied in sugarcane (CTC 4 variety) does not differ for purity and provisional sugar. |
