| Abstract | The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of the application of different sources and doses of nitrogen in productivity of stalks of sugarcane in cane plant. We conducted the experiment under field conditions, in the area of Rio Paraiso II farm belonging to the Raízen factory, in the city of Jataí, GO. The collected soil was classified as dystrophic red latosol. We took samples of the soil, in the layers of 0,00 to 0,20; 0,20 to 0,40 and 0,40 to 0,60 m, for the chemical characterization (pH (CaCl2), pH (H2O), N total, organic material, P, Ca, Mg, K, H+Al; S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn). The experimental design used was in randomized blocks, analysed in factorial scheme 2 x 4, with three replications, the factors analysed were two sources of nitrogen (urea and ammonium nitrate), four doses of nitrogen (0, 60, 120 and 180 kg ha). We determined the productivity of stalks (stalks tons per hectare-TCH) by weighing all the stalks in the area of their respective plots. We observed significant difference in the sources and doses of nitrogen for the productivity of stalks in sugarcane plant. The productivity of stalks of sugarcane SP80-1816 (sugarcane plant) in doses of 60 and 120 kg ha has higher increments when using ammonium nitrate. |
