| Abstract | In Pomerania, L i t t o r e I I e t e a plant communities are classified into 3 associa tions and 3 other syntaxa belonging to 2 alliances ( L 0 b e l i o n and E l e o c h a r i t i o n a c i c u i a r i s ) . In Brittany, the 4 associations belong to only one alliance ( H y d r 0 c o t y I 0 B a I d e I I i o n ) . In Pomerania and sub-atlantic areas, L i t t o r e I I e t e a are mainly developing as limnophytic communities into natural lakes, but in Brittany and eu-atlantic areas, these are only growing as amphiphytic plant communities into artificial ponds and marshes . The behaviour of some species is quite different; for instance, LittoTelia unifloTa and LUTonium natans are limnophytic plants in Pomerania and amphiphytic plants in Brittany. Determinism of EleochaTis aciculaTis communities is also different. In Pomerania, E l e o c h a r i t e t u m a c i c u i a r i s is located at the top level of water and belonging to E l e o c h a r i t i o n a c i c u l a r i s ; in Brittany, L i t t o r e l l o u n i f l o r a e E l e o c h a r i t e t u m a c i c u i a r i s is located at the bottom of plant zonation and belonging to H y d r o c 0 t y I 0 B a I d e I I i o n . E l e o c h a r i s m u I t i c a u l i s is the main associa tion at the outer edge of ponds in Brittany, whilst it is represented by fragmentary stands only in some wetlands of Pomerania. |
