| Abstract | espanolDos son los objetivos principales del presente estudio: analizar las causas que posibilitaron la asuncion y presencia de la prensa politica, el derecho de los ciudadanos a expresar libremente sus ideas y pensamientos politicos, sin olvidar para ello la evolucion legislativa en esta materia. Pero tambien, y paralelamente, presentar los resultados que ello produjo a nivel local, esto es, que prensa se publico, que frecuencia y que duracion tuvo, el caracter que tomo, quien o quienes fueron sus mentores y promotores y la aceptacion que tuvo. En definitiva, dar a conocer la prensa salmantina durante el primer liberalismo, de indudable valor como fuente documental, profundizando en el analisis de la ya conocida, al tiempo que se ofrecen nuevos numeros y localizaciones, pero sobre todo rescatando nuevos titulos hasta ahora desconocidos y/o deslocalizados. EnglishThis study has two main goals: to analyse the causes that led to the adoption and the presence of the political press, the right of citizens to freely express their ideas and political thoughts, and the legislative developments in this area. At the same time, the results that this produced at the local level are presented, that is, what kind of press was published, with what frequency and duration, its character, who its mentors and promoters were and what kind of acceptance it had. In short, the aim is to make known what the Salamanca press was like during the first period of liberalism, its unquestionable value as a documentary source, and to make a deeper analysis of the press already identified. At the same time new issues and locations are offered, and above all new titles that until now have been lost or unknown. |
