| Abstract | abst Ract: This study aimed to correlate the motor variable agility between two adapted tests to wheels chair athletes in collective sports. The survey was conducted with a group of 21 subjects with physical disability - poliomyelitis, amputation of lower members, spinal cord injury and mielomeningocele, all males, with an average age of 30 years ± 1.94, practitioners of Handball in wheel chairs. Two agility tests were conducted, one was the “Agility Changed” and the other test was the “Shuttle Run adapted” to wheelchair sports. The used statistics was descriptive one, as well as Spearman’s correlation procedure. The results showed that there is a correlation of 0.83 with significance level of p < 0.001, when correlated all subjects. In the class of poliomyelitis, the correlation was 0.61, in amputees’ class the correlation was 0.82 and in the class of spinal cord injuries, the correlation was 0.80. In that way, the correlation level (rho) is classified, in general, as strong and results in a coefficient of determination (rho²) of 68%. It is possible to use both of the tests for the measure of the variable agility in users of wheel chairs for practitioners of collective sports.
