| Abstract | espanolEl articulo aborda el tema de los factores que inciden en el crecimiento de la economia mexicana y uno de ellos fue el abierto intervensionismo estatal que se desplego a traves de sus multiples instituciones. Sin embargo, a raiz del proceso de apertura los resultados en terminos de crecimiento y desarrollo para la economia y sociedad mexicanas no han sido satisfactorios, por lo que urge recobrar la senda del crecimiento sostenido. En este escenario y a la luz de la historica trascendencia de las instituciones gubernamentales es que en el presente trabajo se recurre a la estimacion econometrica de una funcion de produccion agregada que considera al capital, al trabajo, al avance tecnologico y al gobierno y sus instituciones consideradas a traves del gasto publico, como los principales elementos que en los ultimos lustros han determinado el crecimiento de la economia mexicana y que lo pueden potencializar en el futuro cercano. EnglishThe article discusses the factors that influence the growth of the Mexican economy and one of them was the open interventionism of the State that unfolded through its various institutions. However, since the process of opening of the economy, the results in terms of growth and development for the Mexican economy and society have not been satisfactory, therefore it is urgent to recover the path of sustained growth. In this scenario and due to the historical trascendence of government institutions, this paper turns to an econometric estimation of an aggregate production function that considers the capital, labor, technological progress and the government and its institutions considered through public expenditure, as the main elements that in the last decades have led the growth of the Mexican economy and that can potentiate the near future. |
