| Abstract | The production and dissemination of scientific knowledge are fundamental to social, cultural and technological development of a country. The objective of this paper is to present the partial results of a survey that is part of a wider project that aims to evaluate the Program of Support for Events in the Country PAEP, Capes. 460 questionnaires were sent to the Presidents of scientific events held in Brazil in 2010, supported by PAEP, in Biological Sciences, Multidisciplinary and Human Sciences areas. Partial data represent the views of 111 of the 460 Presidents of events supported by Capes in 2010. In 80% of responses we found that over 70% of Presidents consider the PAEP satisfactory or very satisfactory. From this |
