| Abstract | This article discusses history as a discipline in the context of the epistemological crisis currently experimented by the social sciences and the humanities. This discussion is possible because history does not have a special status facing the crisis as we present it. Introducing the idea of transdisciplinarity and its expression in the form of cultural studies leads us to propose a new understanding of history as a version of this new field. |
