| Abstract | Distance learning has evolved a lot since its beginning, at the end of the XIX century, when the trainee received the materials by correspondence. Even at that time, trainees worked at their own pace and concluded training according to their work and personal agenda. Today, although courses by correspondence still exist, they are being replaced by distance learning. And the success of this type of learning has caused the emergence of different offers and new business models. There are several solutions for distance learning. The format depends on the objective of the course. The choice of type of solution depends also on the objectives and experience of the institution. In this paper, we will present the case of ISCAP, the evolution of distance learning, the types of offer in these days and some concerns for the future. We want, also, to raise some questions that still need to be studied and will draw some direction for future investigation. |
