| Abstract | The research entitled "Measures for the Protection of Workers Guild Master Carpenter Joiners Carpenters Professionals Chimborazo Riobamba City and its effect on health in the period November 2012 - April 2013", the proposed objective is to determine the influence the use of protective measures in the occurrence of health effects of workers carpenters. The method used in the research was deductive and inductive type of research is qualitative and quantitative, cross-sectional design was used, participatory and ethnographic study type field was because it was made in the place where the incident occurred, the technique used was the survey and observation guides them that were applied to 80 integrants. En the hypothesis was determined that the use of protective measures influences the occurrence of health effects of workers carpenters. However, the 64% of teachers do not use any accessory carpenters labor protection, 10% used mask, 9% used glasses, 9% gloves, earplugs 7%, 1% spell back. The health effects by not using protective measures and to be exposed to various risks causing damage to the body such as respiratory infections 42%, 18% muscle pain, skin lesions 16%, 15% visual impairment, hearing impairment 9% . |
