| Abstract | The objective of this paper was to analyze characteristics of the sociology of science in popular science texts of the Minas Faz Ciência, a Brazilian magazine published by a state support agency for scientific research. Twenty-eight texts of this magazine were selected, which contained some information about the way adopted by scientists for the development of their research. The texts were analyzed by Discursive Textual Analysis method. We used as theoretical references Bruno Latour ́s studies about the sociology of science. In the analyzes, we observe the following characteristics: persuasive aspects in science; science as collective construction; influence of external factors in the construction of the facts; researcher's work dynamics; and researcher's credibility cycle. The results show that such texts can be used to approach aspects of the sociology of science in the classroom. |
