| Abstract | The teaching and research laboratories are collaborative spaces that are constantly evolving. The smartlabs, are born as evolution of laboratories in which there is a large number of interconnected resources. Thanks to the advancement of communication devices and wearable technologies, people are more connected to the so-called Information Age or Digital Era. In this context, in which this project arises, it is conceived as a system to manage the available resources in the different intelligent laboratories. This End of Degree Project, called smartLABs, consists of two applications, an Android mobile app and a wearOS app for SmartWatch. In addition, a web application has been developed, as Administration Panel, to determinate which resources and users of the shared environment will be controlled. The development of the project has followed an user-centered methodology, and an usability evaluation on different users, some of them close to thecnology and others not so much, has been addressed to provide feedback about the main functionalities of this project. |
