| Abstract | In the research entitled "Clown Workshop for the improvement of social skills in a group of university students. Lima, 2016.”, the general objective of the research was to verify if the application of the Clown Workshop improves the social skills in a group of university students. The research carried out was a quantitative approach of type of applied research, with a pre experimental design. The population; Is made up of the students of the National University of San Marcos and the sample consisted of 20 people being an intentional non-probabilistic sampling, being this the only group, by which the experimental group will be called. It was used as a survey-type data collection technique, the instrument of which was a questionnaire on the Goldstein social skills assessment checklist. In the results it was verified that the Clown workshop significantly improved the social skills in a group of university students, who presented statistically significant differences (t = 10.695 and p = 0.000 <0.05), between the pretest and postest, the latter being Which obtains an average higher than the postest (165.00).
