Abstract	In this sense the present thesis "Efficiency of the Internal Control in the Development of the Process of Contracting and Acquisitions of the Provincial Municipality of Cusco Period 2016" has been elaborated with the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the internal control implemented in the development of the contracting process and acquisitions, as well as the adherence and observance of the internal control implemented in the functional activities of the procurement and procurement processes in the supply area. In order to determine those possible situations of risk or weakness that the internal control could reveal, in its processes from the perspective of public officials as user areas, personnel of the internal control body and personnel of the supply management. On which propose the improvements that are necessary, implement specific control mechanisms from administrative systems and the association to a flowchart of operations of which we will establish its nature, control and decision, with which it would contribute to the improvement of the management same favor the improvement of the processes of acquisitions and internal operations of the entity from the establishment of punctual controls in the most critical aspects the supply area as well as practical internal control mechanisms, to favor that the management of resources, goods and operations are carried out in the correct and efficient manner. Framed in the current regulations.
