| Abstract | The study objective is to analyze the commitments signed by countries associated with the Open Government Partnership (OGP), which was created to promote open science. The research method consisted of data and document analysis at the OGP Explore database, where seven of these commitments were identified. The commitments were analyzed in perspective of the categories of open science; proposed actions; and results obtained. Based on this methodology, it was possible to identify that the United States, France, and Canada presented more comprehensive proposals for action on the dimensions of open science and the action plans nature. Comparatively, Albania, Ghana, Slovak Republic, and Romania demonstrated narrower perspectives in the open science conception and bounded action plans. Despite the differences, all countries have made significant progress, especially due to the merit of exposure and their commitment to public power. |
